Well here we are, the first new entry for this year, and what a start we have had. A lot of changes are in the pipeline, and a new group. How exciting is that !!! Watch out for announcments on these.
Soooo, last night. Wow. We were packed to say the least. We had 3 visitors from other groups, and the welcome return of some not so often seen faces which was truly awesome.Thanks so much for coming and making the night as great as it was with 15 peeps. Thanks Big Man. Well, last night out theme had to be the Chinese New Year, and our little Jo really worked her heart out to bring us some traditional Chinese fare. Thanks so much for your hard work, and to all that helped with this. We had a pretty informal night, to kick start our new season. We started off with some taboo, and then Jo led us in discussion regarding John 1-18. Here we discussed what the term "Gospel" meant to us all, and then read the verses to see if this could expand our understanding. Well, we filled a giant sheet of paper with ideas such as "truth" "music" "the story of Jesus" "hope" and so many others. It is definetely fair to say that the night was a great success, and we really look forward to sharing more of them with you all. Have an awesome week OMG'ers full of our Gods love.
The OMG Production Team  November 23 Hinds Feet On High Places - 13+14Welcome Back OMG'ers
We have had a little break on the blog but are now back and ready to update you all on the goings on in OMG land. This week there were 10 of us that made it, and we would love to say a whopping great OMG thankyou to our first timer James. We rally hope you enjoyed yourself with us, and would love to have you back :-) So, we have started a new food theme cycle now, running through the alphabet, but with countries. This week we went British, and had Steak and Kidney pie and mash, apple pie and pork pies :-). So once we filled our bellies, we kicked off the main program with Becky leading us in singing our little hearts out to our Lord, and then Mick took us for a wander through our next 2 chapters where much afraid faced the Valley of Loss and the Place of annointing. Through this discussion some key points came out, 1) that our life is not going to become perfect when we become Christians, 2) that despite the troubles we will go through, our Lord will never look down on us and will only ever show us love, 3) that the path ahead may seem wrong to us, but if we trust in our Father and His promise for us, we will always be victorious in His name. So that about wraps this week edition up. We really hope that this book is proving to be of real benefit to you all. The OMG Production Team October 13 Hinds Feet On High Places: Chaps 3-4Welcome Back OMG'ers
This week a great big OMG thanks goes out to Inga for allowing us to invade her place, and invade we did as there was 10 of us
 . So, we feasted on V food this week, so there was a lot of vegetarian. This week Becky led us in Praise and Worship, and Mick took us into this weeks discussion based on chapters 3 and 4 of Hinds Feet on High Places. This week we learnt that Jesus will never give up on us, and how nature can show us so much about our walk with God. We also discussed why Sorrow and Suffering were provided as companions for "Much Afraid", and how this reflects upon us, and we decided that we all have different barriers that we need to break through to draw closer to God, so He will always help us to locate and defeat these. This week it was really evident that the message from this book is making an impact, and we really hope that you will all come next week and enjoy finding out what happens to "Much Afraid" next.So, till we see you again, have a great week, and get reading chapters 5 and 6.

The OMG Production Team October 07 Hinds Feet on High PlacesWell hellllooooooo OMG'ers
Welcome to the latest installment of your blog. This week we had a toughie for our food "U".So we went creative, Uncle Bens, and "unstuffed Peppers ???". Anyhooo, this Week we welcomed a new friend, Edi. We hope you enjoyed your first OMG experience and will come back for more :-) .So, we kicked off the night with Jo and Becky leading us in singing Praise and Worship to our Lord, and then we went into the first of our walks through "Hinds Feet On High Places", led by Becky. This week we looked at how God seeks a close relationship with us, and that He desires to help us become the people that we should be by helping us to see and conquer these, in time. This book is packed full of great jewels that are waiting for us, so we really hope you join us next time for our second visit, covering chapters 3 and 4.
And dont forget Peeps, it is the Hope London Anniversary this coming Saturday (11/10/08). It is a night not to be missed and is at the London Hilton in Kensington. If you would like to get a ticket please let us know asap or speak to one of us on Friday.

The OMG Production Team September 17 An introductionWelcome back OMG'ers
Well, our blog has been silent for a while, but we are now fully rejuvenated and ready to keep you all updated once more. So, this week we were on the letter R, and so feasted on rice, rolls, ravioli. We kicked off the night by singing Praise to our Awesome God led by Mick and Becky, and then we had an introduction/discussion time led by Becky and Mick. Here we discussed the new book that we are going to be studying,Hinds Feet on High Places, and looked at scriptures to show the relevance of this. Time was against us this week so we were not able to go far, but we think it was shown that this new topic is going to be one that proves to be most valuable to us all. So, make sure you come along and join us for this.

Due to our time keeping issues, we are implementing a new time structure to help us to finish at a reasonable hour:
7:30 - 7:45: Food prep
7:45 - 8:30: Food (additional prep and munching)
8:30 - 9:00: Praise and Worship
9:00 - 9:40: Discussion
9:40 - 10:00: Prayer and closing
Ok OMG'ers, please help us to keep to the above by turning up on time if you can, ideally once the program starts (8:30) all food will be away to allow us to focus on the evenings events.
